We headed to the park by our future home for a Fourth of July Celebration.
It was cold! And even drizzly.
CJ had fun practicing some gymnastics.
Then she found a hula hoop contest, before entering the water balloon contest with Dad.
We stopped back at the apartment for some Holiday art.
And then we headed out to watch some fireworks.
We planted ourselves on a hill where we thought we would be able to see several shows.
We tried to stay warm.
We sent Daddy back to the car for another blanket.
Then the fireworks started.
Problem was that the show we had the best view of was the one that fired off the whole show at once!
We were able to see some other fireworks through the trees, but not as much as we'd hoped. Darn.
