The Park

When we visit Grandma, one of CJ's favorite places to go is the park across the street. So we brought Grandma and Grandpa there to show off her new bike riding skills.

Later, Daddy showed us his dolphin riding skills, which had us all cracking up.

We were sitting out front and CJ started singing. Loud. Then she went and got an instrument and a book and started making up songs to go with the pictures in the book. If anyone were to walk by (which many people did), the volume increased. She really loves her music.

Hula Girl

OK, not the best video (Mama needs some work on her editing skills), but you can see how CJ is improving her hula skills. She made the hula hoop at the party on Sunday and it was actually sunny enough that they got to give them a spin outside. In February. Nice.

She must have heard this song at the party today. She popped up during dinner and started singing it. Later she wanted to know where your soul is in your body.

CJ has been taking dance for a few years and this year we decided to overdo it a bit by taking ballet and tap back to back on the same afternoon. Here she is doing a little free dance, while waiting for tap to begin.

While in California, we had a chance to visit the Lagunitas Brewing Company TapRoom and Beer Sanctuary. There was a great outdoor area and Uncle D had mentioned that it was kid and dog friendly so we brought the whole family. CJ got there and immediately claimed she was hungry, but all that we could find on the menu for the under-age set was an apple juice and a basket of pretzels. It must have hit the spot, for after the live music ended, she treated Uncle D and his friends to this performance on the stage:

Ladies and Gentlemen

Here's the little drama queen performing after consuming her fair share of cookie dough. Mama missed the "ladies and gentlemen" at the beginning of the performance countdown. CJ performs pretty well on the small stage (also known as a step stool).

Ok, ok. Mama just realized that the new camera makes QuickTime videos, which can't easily be rotated in Windows Movie Maker. Here it is sideways, until she can figure this out.
