We Celebrated Early

We had a pretty quiet day. CJ organized a game before we opened our Valentine's gifts (we had to dress fabric dolls and then draw our outfit). Then we moved on to the good stuff. What do you get for a gift when you live in the Pacific NW? Rain boots, of course!
CJ also received some candy and a few other goodies. Mama got some pretty roses and Daddy got the most unique gift - a banana bunker! Now he can take bananas with him when he rides to work.

In lieu of a fancy meal, we rode bikes over to the new bagel shop in the area and then to the library. Lots of CJ favorite things.

She still hearts baking Valentine cookies.

Get Her Chain

Mama was doing some work on her computer recently when she realized how easy it is to find all the movie files on a Mac. This led to us watching a few clips from when CJ was small and CJ really enjoyed them.

This is one of our favorites. You can see how she fears Little B, loves her and loves to tease her all at the same time. It's hard to remember the days when this little girl couldn't walk or talk as well as she can now and it's great to have these little glimpses of those days.

The Big Game

Our family didn't care too much who won the game, but I think we all picked Green Bay over Pittsburgh. We stuck close to home and made some snacks and watched a bit of it.

CJ decided Daddy and I needed tickets in order to get some fresh popped popcorn:

Holiday Art

CJ worked on a few valentine cards this morning. This one with the birds was some of her best work. Of course she took pictures of it.

It was bedtime, but Little B was doing something cute so CJ ran to get her camera to capture it.

We saw a new doctor today and Mama liked her. We are trying a new thing for the "dot" on CJ's nose and Mama wanted to take a before picture. Here it is.
